Hey everyone. Sorry I've left you in the dark for such a long time, but I've come to a decision to close down the Necro Knights. This clan lived much longer than I expected it to, and I've learned so much during this time. When I started the clan it was the first time I'd ever posted on a forum, but yet I put so much thought into the original post, as I usually over think things. It turned out to be a massive success, bringing in about 7 members a day.
Unfortunately due to the fact that Terraria is no longer being updated and the community has crawled to a slow, we're not longer getting many members at all. I have also personally lost interest in Terraria, you can only do something so much before you lose interest. Not to mention the server costs which I've been paying out of pocket for some time now. It was a great clan and a great experience, I've made many friends because of the clan, and I hope everyone else has as well.

Hello, (In your language of preference) Gengi here. We'll just be doing the regular ol Survival PvP today. Whether it be team, solo, or whatever you guys choose. It'll be at 6:30 as always. See you there!

Hey everyone, for today's event we'll be doing a King Arthur's Gold type Terraria map where each team will build a fortress to protect their flag. There are 3 classes: Warrior, Archer, and Builders. There must be one of each class on each team, but no more than 3 of each.
Builders will receive items to build onto their fortress and break down the enemy fortress. Builders get 3 bombs.
Warriors will receive better armor than Archers and Builders and get melee items. Warriors get 5 bombs.
Archers receive a bow (of course) and unlimited arrows and a short sword. Archers get 2 bombs.
The objective is to break down the opposing team's flag entirely. You will have to either save a bomb to use on the flag or escourt one of your team's builders to break the flag.

In honor of our 1 year anniversary we've changed the map to hour oldest archived map for the day. Feel free to look around and build, I'll be saving the map and putting it in the archive before switching it back to the current map tomorrow. Have fun! :)
EDIT: Oh, and don't forget about the extended event today! Since we didn't get as much time as I wanted yesterday we'll be doing some more stuff today starting at 6:00 PM EST. Hope to see everyone!

Well guys, it's official, the Necro Knights has been around for a whole year! Because I was on vacation and just got back today we couldn't do a special event today, but at this Saturday's event we'll be doing something different! The event will start at 5:00 PM EST instead of the usual 6:00 so we will have more time. So remember, 5:00, not 6:00!

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I posted something other than an event description, but I feel like we've kind of left everyone in the dark as to why there hasn't been much clan activity recently.
The truth is, Terraria is not the thriving community flooded with new members that it used to be. Because of this, we lack new active members. Sure, we get a few members a week, but they tend to abandon the clan within a day or two.
Don't get me wrong, we have our active members who have been with the clan for a long time and still are today. But I do think some changes are in order due to the lack of incoming active members. These are just some ideas, I've yet to talk to Gengi about these.
1. The Member List needs to be cleaned out of inactive members, it's inaccurate at the moment because so many of the members on the list no longer associate with the clan. It will be a long process, but it needs to be done. ... Read more »
